RANA Kit

Background

The Rapid Adaptive Need Assessment (RANA) Kit is a device that can be dropped into contaminated bodies of water and sends feedback telling the user whether the water is potable or not, based on several parameters.  The goal of the RANA Kit Project is to decrease the size of the already existing device from 55 pounds to 10-15 pounds. We will be putting together a team of skillful civil, mechanical, and computer engineers to fulfill this goal and eventually put the kit to use.
